  1. Good interview. You were better than the interviewer.
Nicely done, even though it was before your coffee.

  2. Thanks very much, Michael. I thought the interviewer did a good job. He had obviously read the book, which I appreciated. I wanted to yell out "Spoiler Alert!" when he talked about the end of the story, but other than that, he made me feel comfortable with his manner and his questions. (He also had the most perfectly straight and almost blindingly white teeth.)

  3. Jim,

I finished reading your book yesterday on the drive home from visiting my parents in Michigan. I absolutely love your debut novel. I tried my best to read it slowly, wanting to savor each moment of BILL WARRINGTON'S LAST CHANCE. When I came to the end, I pressed the book to my heart and turned to my sister. I said to her, "That was an excellent book." Powerful writing and heartbreaking (but hopeful), beautiful story. One of my all-time favorites. Thank you for not giving up on your dream. -Mia

  5. Jim, I continue to think about the ending of BILL WARRINGTON'S LAST CHANCE. I love it and know I will be reading your novel again and again. I will be telling everyone I know and meet to read it. Indeed, this is what all writers wish for: a reader to fall in love with their stories. -Mia
